We call Rushan ‘MacGyver’ due to the fact that it is not a single thing he can not conceive of or fix his own ingenuity and hands. So many of the items you see in the house bear his creative signature, while soft furnishings and other smaller decorations are the pieces that have caught my eye and thus found a home within our hotel.
The steel coffee table in the living room is a favorite piece, as is the standing lamp that reminds me of a bouquet of delicate wildflowers. The garden is scattered with his sculptures, inspired by old masters such as Miró and Picasso. I especially love the light over the dining table Rushan fashioned out of a beautiful old piece of wood. Its warmth and rustic tones fit with the rest of the room.
Our creative minds never stop thinking of new things and finding fresh inspiration from the spaces and places we visit. If you fall in love with something you see at Pure House Ibiza – be it as small as a cushion or as wide as a table – be sure to ask us if you can buy it. We’re happy to send you off to a new home, as it makes you feel more at home.
